Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of Sherpa, including our website, the free report, and the Sherpa app for Shopify. By using Sherpa you agree to them. If you are using Sherpa for a business, you accept these terms on its behalf.

Sherpa detects AI agents visiting your store, verifies them against published sources, grades how readable your store is to agents, and suggests improvements. Detection features are free. Fix-and-improve features are paid. We may change features over time and will aim to give reasonable notice of material changes.

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure, since sign-in uses an emailed code or Google. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.

You agree not to:

• scan stores you do not own or operate without permission;
• attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service;
• use Sherpa to violate any law or third-party rights;
• resell or redistribute the service without our written consent.

Sherpa reports what it can observe. Outside-in scans reflect publicly available signals at the time of the scan. Our AI Visibility feature shows how AI models answered questions we put to them through their APIs at a point in time. Model answers vary and are not guarantees of how any agent will treat your store.

Paid features are billed as described at purchase. Where billing runs through Shopify, Shopify's terms also apply. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise at purchase.

Sherpa and its content, software, and branding are owned by us and our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. Your store's data remains yours, and you grant us the rights needed to operate the service for you.

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Sherpa does not warrant that detection or recommendations will be error-free or that results will increase your traffic or revenue. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

You may stop using Sherpa and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached or to protect the service. Sections that by nature should survive termination will do so.

These terms are governed by the laws of [your governing jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
